Framework agreement for the supply of approx. 400t/a cationic flocculant (polymer) for digested sludge dewatering and thickening of excess sludge

The AZV Südholstein intends to recontract the supply of flocculants for the digested sludge dewatering of the sewage treatment plant Hetlingen. The amount of digested sludge to be dewatered is approx. 11,000 t/a DM. Delivery must be made in accordance with the service description. Corresponding quality objectives must be strictly adhered to.

A maximum of 3 applicants will be invited to carry out large-scale trials (level 2).

These bidders must test their flocculant at the Hetlingen sewage treatment plant and thus prove the suitability of the flocculant offered with regard to consumption. A total of 4 days per bidder are set aside to carry out trials. Further specifications are listed in the service description. The results of the tests must be documented and submitted to the AZV after completion of the experiment. The award criterion shall be the most economical tender in relation to the calculation matrix attached to the tender documents.
