Reinforce the control schemes for recreational catches of sea bass in the Atlantic by providing a state of the art assessment, identify best practices and develop innovative IT tools for the effective control and monitoring of recreational fisheries.
The main aim of this pilot project is to reinforce the control schemes for recreational catches of sea bass in the Atlantic. The project shall evaluate available control and monitoring measures and tools, identify strengths and weaknesses of available solutions, explore good practices and propose clear recommendations and guidelines to improve the recreational sea bass control schemes. The work shall also include the creation and/or development and testing of IT applications to ensure a more efficient and harmonised control of recreational fisheries. The IT tools might also contain optional features to facilitate recreational fishers’ activities.
