The Cadwgan Building Preservation Trust is seeking to appoint an archaeological contractor to undertake a wide range of archaeological works as part of a major restoration of Cardigan Castle, Ceredigion (SN177459). The castle is a scheduled ancient monument, a Registered Park and Garden,and elements of it are listed. The successful contractor will start on site in early 2012 and all the works including reporting are likely to be completed by autumn 2014.
