Creation of a zone concept and implementation on a next-generation firewall to be delivered

With this award procedure, SWT Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts der Stadt Trier (hereinafter SWT) would like to find external support in order to improve the security of SWT's IT network by means of network segmentation.

In addition to the service, a corresponding next-generation firewall is also to be delivered and implemented. Since a Palo Alto firewall is already in use and, according to the BSI recommendation (NET.3.2.A27), two different manufacturers are to be used, offers containing firewall solutions from the manufacturer Palo Alto Networks cannot be considered in the award procedure.

Furthermore, a zone concept for approx. 300 networks and 450 servers is to be created, which is then to be mapped by the contractor using a corresponding set of rules.
