Carpentry Hall Main Building
The "Globe" Coburg is designed as a multi-storey timber building in solid wood construction, which stands on a basement made of WU concrete and is stiffened with the help of two concrete staircases and solid wood walls. The floor slabs are built in wood-concrete composite construction.
All wooden surfaces and cladding are to be offered for the carpentry work of the main hall. The cladding is to be made primarily in silver fir as panels and lamellar structure. Substructures, acoustic fleece and absorber elements must also be taken into account. High-quality workmanship is required. The cladding shall be carried out on the ceilings of the ranks and on the walls.
