In an organisation such as the Norwegian Seafood Council, there is no direct link between investments and income. As the Norwegian Seafood Council invests money on behalf of the Norwegian seafood industry, it is particularly important to evaluate the effect of the work that is done. The Norwegian Seafood Council has a relatively extensive evaluation plan that spans from how consumers' attitudes change, to the execution of marketing campaigns and satisfaction in the industry. The Norwegian Seafood Council is now looking for persons, researchers, and/or actors outside the Norwegian Seafood Council who can evaluate the return on NSC's investments.
