Sauherad municipality shall construct a new primary and comprehensive school and a school for culture and arts at Gvarv.

The school shall be built as a 2-parallel 1st to 10th year school with a capacity of a total of 450 students.

The current building for the 5th to 10th year classes must be demolished and replaced with a new building. The new building is planned to be connected to the 1st to 4th year building. The 5th to 10th school building must not be demolished before the new building is in operation. The building for the 1st to 4th year classes, minor reconstruction as well as connection to the new building are planned. The demolition must be carried out after the new building is completed.

The works must be organised in such a manner that the school can operate safely while the construction works are being executed. In regard to progress the works must be executed in stages:

Stage 1: Preparatory works. Establish access and demarcation of the area. Establish transformers, including ditches with pipes. Demolition of car sheds and relocation of the Rock container.

Stage 2: new building.

Stage 3: 1st to 4th year school building.

Stage 4: demolition of the 5th to 10th year school building + outdoor areas.

The procurement is implemented in accordance with the Public Procurement Act dated 17.6.2016 (LOA) and the Public Procurement Regulations (FOA) 2016-08-12-974, Section I) and Section III). A contract will be awarded in accordance with the open tender contest procedure, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-1 (1).

Negotiations are not allowed in this contest. Tenders cannot, therefore, be changed after the tender deadline has expired. Furthermore, attention is drawn to the fact that tenders that include significant deviations from the procurement documents shall be rejected in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations § 24-8 (2) a.

Tenderers are therefore strongly encouraged to follow the instructions given in the tender documentation and annexes and to ask questions via emails if they are uncertain.
