Etelä-Savon Energia Oy is seeking a service provider to manage the hipping and loading of solid fuels at Metsä-Sairila (Kiertotaloudenkatu 31, Mikkeli) and Waste Station (Kiertotaloudenkatu 20, Mikkeli) terminals and transport to Pursiala power station (Lastaajankatu 6, Mikkeli). In addition, the contract includes the sanitation of terminals and the snow work at Metsä-Sairila (Kiertotaloudenkatu 31, Mikkeli) terminal.

The acquisition is described in detail in the Annex to this procurement notice “Draft contract terminal and transport surakka of the Pursiala power plant of Etelä-Savon Energia Oy - Metsä-Sairila and Wastestation”.

This acquisition seeks a service provider to manage the hipping and loading of solid fuels at Metsä-Sairila (Kiertotaloudenkatu 31, Mikkeli) and Waste Station (Kiertotaloudenkatu 20, Mikkeli) and transport to Pursiala power station (Lastaajankatu 6, Mikkeli). In addition, the contract includes the sanitation of terminals and the snow work at Metsä-Sairila (Kiertotaloudenkatu 31, Mikkeli) terminal.

Works included in the acquisition are broken down:

Hinges, sanitation and snowwork

• The provider monitors deliveries arriving at terminals, cleanliness of terminals and snow situation.

• The hipping is carried out within 24 h from the arrival of the load to the terminals to the so-called double-layer seam. The arrival of loads at terminals may vary considerably in terms of volume over different time periods.

• Snow work is started when there is more than 5 cm of snow accumulated in maintained areas. The area to be maintained is the area required for load bite, lapping and loading. Snow is piled into the free space of the terminals.

• The provider itself, at its own expense, handles the control of slippery so that the material for the control of slippery does not fall into the fuel.

• The service provider will carry out possible traction assistance for trucks supplying fuel to terminals if necessary.

• Sanitation refers to the removal of junk that may be accumulated in an area at the expense of the Provider, i.e., general cleanliness. If necessary, solid fuel remaining in the crushing area will be removed according to the Subscriber's instruction.

• The service provider's fleet should be equipped with fire and oil control equipment. Particular care should be exercised in areas with oil spills.

Loading and transportation

• Loading and transport may vary considerably in terms of volume over different time periods. Some period of year may not have a single load and transport. On the other hand, the maximum amount of loading and transportation is

o 200 000 i-m3/v

o 50 000 i-m3/month

o 20 000 i-m3/

o 4,000 i-m3/day

• The Euro emission rating of the service provider's truck fleet used for this service must be at least “Euro-5”.

• Transportation by Service Provider trucks to Pursiala Power Station in Mikkeli includes reception measures belonging to the driver.
