As part of an international research project, FAIR GmbH is planning the construction of the new accelerator complex “FAIR” (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) - hereinafter referred to as FAIR project - with a connection to the existing GSI accelerator facility.
The subject of the present award procedure is the services for the fire barriers of the pipe and electrical trades for buildings K0923A, H0719A, G0704A, G0702A and H0705A as well as the fire barriers of the electrical conduits of buildings G0702A, G0704A, H0705A, H0719A, K0308A, K0314A, K0503A, K0617A, L0321A, L0516A, L0608A, K0923A, K0321A and K0406A (VE_400-028).
The object of the contract is the production of fire protection bulkheads within the buildings, tunnels, connecting structures and test tracks.
The fire protection bulkheads are carried out both in the basement floors and in the above-ground areas of the technical buildings.
All fire partitions are created in openings that have already been manufactured by the customer and some of which are covered with different media lines from the electrical and HVAC trades.
The execution of the work includes the supply and installation of fire plugs, mortar bulkheads, the creation of pipe bulkheads and soft bulkheads of various dimensions. The service also includes a fully comprehensive documentation of the bulkheads on site and in digital form.
The total service also includes the construction site equipment for the entire duration of the in-house work on the construction site.
The main services are:
1. Electrical fire barriers
1.1 Cover approx. 4,250 empty pipes DN 160 with fire protection plugs.
1.2 Allowances for adjustment to partial occupancy with occupancy quantities up to 15% and up to 30%.
1.3 Allowances for overhead work, the plugs are to be installed in the empty pipes in the ceiling.
2. Fire bulkheads openings round, rectangular
2.1 Close openings with sand-lime bricks.
2.2 Bulking approx. 1,000 pipe penetrations of different diameters from non-combustible pipes in drywall.
2.3 Enclose approx. 200 pieces of pipe penetrations in different diameters from combustible pipes.
2.4 Seal off approx. 250 electrical bushings in rectangular openings.
2.5 Preparation of a complete documentation of all fire compartments, keeping a bulkhead book.
