FAIR GmbH is planning the construction of the new accelerator complex “FAIR” (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) - hereinafter referred to as the FAIR project - with connection to the existing GSI accelerator facility as part of an international research project.

The subject of the present award procedure is the services for the precast concrete facade (VE_300-048).

A material price adjustment clause is agreed for the substances in accordance with Annex B180 (VHB225).

The object of the contract is the execution of curtain-type facades with structured large-format precast concrete elements including anchoring system, formwork and reinforcement, core insulation on the outer wall, waterproofing work for trough walls as well as fall protection roof for follow-on trades.

The main services are:

- Approx. 18.320m² of mineral wool core insulation on outer shell wall, diameter approx. 60mm, incl. outer lining with black glass fleece and mechanical fixing

- Approx. 22,950m² of structured precast reinforced concrete façade, normal concrete, D max.12 cm, including formwork, reinforcement and supporting structure

- Approx. 40m² sealing of ground-contact reinforced concrete walls, 2-layer, with mineral sealing slurry, including studded membrane and approx. 20m expansion joint tape

- Approx. 1,890m roof edge protection

- Approx. 60 pieces of precast stones as precast concrete brackets, including fixing
