This procurement relates to the design, production and delivery of a new passenger vessel, with electric propulsion, to Tjörns Hamnar AB.

The procurement process will take place in two stages. This call for tenders is intended to qualify participants who meet a number of qualification requirements. Applicants who meet the qualification requirements will be given the opportunity to submit tenders in a second stage.

One of THAB's current passenger ships needs to be replaced.

The procurement relates to the design, production and delivery of a new vessel. The new vessel will meet high standards of efficiency and comfort as well as low environmental impact. In order to minimize the ship's environmental impact, the ship must be 100% powered by electricity that is charged via a shore connection.

The vessel, and all equipment with which the ship is equipped, shall comply with the rules and instructions of the Swedish Transport Agency (STA) for domestic passenger traffic in sea area D in both summer and winter conditions.

The commitment also includes the delivery and installation of the vessel's charging equipment ashore.

Delivery time: within 18 months from the date of contract.

THAB will provide a detailed specification of requirements for the vessel together with the request for quotation.
