Energieversorgung Schwerin GmbH und Co. Generation KG is a 100% subsidiary of Stadtwerke Schwerin GmbH and has been operating a gas and steam turbine thermal power station at each of the Schwerin Süd and Schwerin Lankow locations since 1994.
The cogeneration plants put into operation in 1994 are to be modernized within the framework of the currently valid KWKG (in the version of 2017) - due to the advanced age of system parts and the energy requirements.
The modernization measures for the CHP plant in Schwerin Lankow essentially include the following measures:
- replacing the gas turbines with a Solar Titan 130,
- Conversion of the waste heat boiler from steam to hot water
- the resulting adaptation of waste heat boilers,
- the renewal of power plant control technology/electrical engineering as well as
- the modernization of further peripheral plant components.
The contractor has the existing control system PCS 7 to expand all systems in HKW Lankow and to integrate them programmatically. For this purpose, in particular, the structured cabling in HKW South must be built, the field level must be integrated via decentralized peripherals and all systems must be linked across the board using the ProfiNET automation concept.
The scope of services essentially comprises the following components:
• structured cabling including 19" cabinets,
• Network technology for the terminal and plant network,
• Integration of frequency converters via ProfiNET,
• Integration of switchgear control technology via ProfiBUS / ProfiNET in PCS 7,
• BuB system in the new control room,
• Provision of large-screen monitors for the control room,
• Establishment of decentralized peripherals for the integration of the field level,
• Programming / visualization of the systems in PCS 7.
