Description:
Framework agreement for assault alarms.

The aim of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement for the procurement of assault alarms for the Agency of Welfare's drug and alcohol institutions. The framework agreement will be signed with one tenderer.

The framework agreement will apply for the procurement of assault alarms with the accompanying equipment where new installations are to be assembled. The Agency for Welfare can need new installations in new buildings and existing buildings that do not already have an existing alarm platform installation.

The estimated scope of the contract will be NOK 4-6 million over a four year period, but the concrete scope will depend on future needs for assault alarms in the various institutions and the budget limits for the Agency for Welfare. The contracting authority gives no guarantee for call-offs under the framework agreement.

The Agency for Welfare has 19 drug and alcohol institutions located over all of Oslo, of which two currently have systems for assault alarms. The institutions have from 8 to 40 places. The buildings are of varying character, but they are mainly older buildings with a lot of concrete. Depending on the type of institution, residents reside at the institution from 1-2 days to up to one year. The institutions' need for assault alarms and the design of the system will depend on each institution's target group. The need changes with the user group's development.
