Since 7 June 2018, AMC and the Vumc have merged administratively under the name Amsterdam UMC. As a result of this merger, they form one cardiology department, spread over two main locations.
An important portfolio choice of the Amsterdam UMC is to concentrate cardiovascular care at the AMC location. The choice fits within the formation of one intervention center in which the medical specialties interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, vascular interventional radiology and interventional neuroradiology come together in one joint Cardiovascular Intervention Center Amsterdam (CVIC), location AMC. In the new center, each discipline has its own intervention treatment room with a joint holding where patient reception and admission options are included as well as sleeping and discharge rooms. An MRI is also part of the Cardiovascular Intervention Center and will be specially equipped for MRI-guided cardiac interventions and also for cardiological and vascular imaging in particular. Merging the cardiological and vascular interventions within one center makes it possible to be (and remain) a leader in this field. Because the disciplines work in one department, there is more interaction and it is easier to make use of each other's expertise. Collaboration at the intersection of each other's expertise creates the ideal environment for innovation in various areas, ranging from workflow to combined or new procedures. The new CVIC will be realized at location AMC in building part C2. The new centre will be inaugurated in mid-2026.
Objective tender:
The purpose of this tender is to acquire - in good time - the "nail-proof" equipment or the equipment that affects the construction and installation technical design of building part C2 of the AMC.
As such, the following products fall within the scope of this public tender:
