The HZDR intends to award a new framework contract to a company for the supply of liquid nitrogen (≥ 99.99 vol%) in the tank and service tanker of the various delivery points of the HZDR and the VKTA.

On the premises of the research site in 01328 Dresden-Rossendorf, seven nitrogen tanks are currently to be supplied. These containers are rental containers and must be provided by the respective contractor with the start of the contract on 01.01.2024. The container sizes are 3x32,500 litres, 2x11,000 litres and 2x 3,600 litres. Another nitrogen tank in the Feslenkeller branch in 01189 Dresden is currently being planned. Delivery must be made after call-off by dial-up or order by individual call-off. The response time must not exceed 3 working days.

In addition, the contractor must supply individual, smaller storage containers (colloquially jugs) with a small tanker (service vehicle). All containers to be filled are the property of the HZDR or VKTA. The delivery of liquid nitrogen in the service tanker takes place by routine 3x a week (Mon, Wed and Fri) for the research site in 01328 Dresden-Rossendorf as well as to the Felsenkeller branch office in 01189 Dresden and, if required, to the branch office in 09599 Freiberg.

The maximum purchase quantity for liquid nitrogen in the tank or service tanker is 20,000,000 kg.
