The subject of the award is construction work on the existing flood protection system around the village of Niederalteich. The flood protection systems are solid structures and dykes along the Danube and the right bank of the Hengersberger Ohe.

The measures put out to tender here in award unit 18 (VE18) essentially include the following buildings (BW):

- Flood protection dike Seebach SEEB 0+000 to 1+340 (BW1, 2, 3), partly with HWS reinforced concrete (StB) walls

- Flood protection dike SCEI 2+300 to 2+559.6 (BW9)
