The Kreiskrankenhaus St. Franziskus Saarburg GmbH is planning to carry out a number of KHZG-funded projects in the field of IT security.

The following lots are assigned to the IT Security division:

Lot 1: Network

The core elements here are Cisco WLC and Cisco ISE as well as Cisco Prime, which are essentially about setting up redundant systems to improve reliability. Likewise, with the topic of network expansion and WLAN, the old network technology is to be renewed for the same purpose and areas that have not yet been developed are to be expanded.

Los 2: Mobile Device Management

The main task here is to build a new, modern MDM that is able to manage the mobile devices that are made available to employees to perform their tasks, while ensuring ease of use by employees.

Los 3: Single Sign on

An SSO solution for the various applications should both reduce the risk to information security and reduce the effort required for password resets etc. in administration.

Lot 4: Email Archiving and Encryption

The aim of the lot is to rebuild a legally compliant e-mail archiving system and make it usable for employees. Likewise, an easy-to-use e-mail encryption is to be provided in order to be able to act in compliance with data protection regulations here as well.
