For the “Am Martinsgraben” construction area, the installation process for development plan No. 126 is currently in operation. Among other things, the construction of a new day care center is planned in the scope of application.

Based on the indicated needs, a daycare center of the appropriate size is to be set up. The new premises are intended to accommodate a rule group with 25 seats, an integration group with 18 seats and two nursery groups with 15 children each. As a result, 73 new childcare places are to be created. Depending on the progress of developments in the area of existing daycare centers in the urban area, it is also conceivable that the planned integrative group can be supervised as a rule group.

The daycare center is located in the southwestern area of the planned area. The plot size of the daycare center is approximately 3,000 m². The arrangement of the daycare center on the southwestern edge of the planned area is intended to increase the distance to the future collection road “Am Martinsgraben” and, as a result, increase traffic safety. The development of the day care center is to take place through the extension of “Sudheimer Straße”.

The future concept of the new daycare center still has to be coordinated and created with the future head of interior design. According to current considerations, however, it can be assumed that topics such as nutrition, sport and exercise as well as nature will cover a large area. It is also conceivable, for example, that people cook themselves in the daycare center. As a result, appropriate precautions must be taken in planning.

The costs are estimated at around EUR 3.5 million gross.
