This invitation to tender covers: assistance in developing questionnaires and processing data on environmental accounts, methodological support.

The statistical services forming the subject of this invitation to tender are divided into the following lots:

Lot 1: Support for Validation and Development of Monetary Environmental Accounts;

Lot 2: Data collection and development of physical environmental accounts;

Lot 3: Updating and application of models to estimate raw material equivalent (RME model);

Lot 4: Support to water statistics production and water accounts development;

Lot 5: Secondary raw materials and waste accounting;

Lot 6: Economic aspects of the circular economy.

The objective of this call for tender for lot 1 is:

— to support Eurostat in the process of data collection, validation, gap-filling and estimation for the statistical field of monetary environmental accounts,

— to support data analysis, quality assessment and dissemination for the statistical field of monetary environmental accounts,

— to maintain, improve and operate the existing IT tools and to develop and implement new and more efficient, comprehensive and coherent IT tools, which will be compatible with Eurostat’s IT environment, for the completion of the questionnaires by countries, data checking by countries and for Eurostat’s data validation, analysis and dissemination,

— to support the methodological development of monetary environmental accounts and development of new data collections in the domain of environmental-economic accounts by Eurostat.
