The objective for this pre-qualification is to secure qualified candidates demonstrating the ability and skills to meet the tactical element bridge (TEB) requirements in a competition for a contract comprising the total scope for TEBs. Only candidates found qualified and selected under the criteria stated will receive an invitation to tender (ITT). The primary purpose of the candidate's design, development and production of a TEB system shall be for:

— single-span bridge,

— multi-span bridge,

— floating bridge,

— transport solutions.

NDMA shall require the candidate's commitment to provide the security of supply of parts for the useful life of the TEB estimated to be a period of 30 years. This support of the TEB's useful life for spare parts may be regulated in a separate agreement.
