In the context of the winter service, it is necessary for the Agency for Roads and Traffic to have its own fleet of winter service equipment for combating slipperiness on cycle paths. Currently, AWV does not have sufficient winter service equipment for combating slipperiness on cycle paths and the purchase of winter service equipment for slipperiness control on cycle paths is necessary in order to ensure that the services in terms of slipperiness control and snow removal on cycle paths are optimally carried out.
