The qualification of 4 contractors to a framework agreement for the supply and installation of enhanced bus shelters to improve city centre environments within Centro's network across the West Midlands area of the UK. The range of products will deliver a high quality bus shelter for key locations in enhanced public realm areas that offers a more modern and contemporary design in comparison to Centro's standard roadside shelters. This framework makes available a suitable range of products which are already within suppliers' product ranges and offer enhanced passenger waiting facilities and information provision. Please note that there may be small amounts of contractor design required dependent on the characteristics of a particular site (e.g. narrow footway or longer shelter unit) and that the products will be modular. The framework agreement will be for a period of no longer than 48 months from the date of the award of the contract.
Please note that the award criteria stated in Section IV.2.1 refer to the initial qualification of contractors to the framework agreement only. These are not necessarily the same award criteria which will be used in a particular mini competition event. They will be determined by what is deemed most appropriate based on the requirements of the particular call-off itself.
