The City of Lohja will put out to tender the structural design of the city's maintenance work and small investment projects in advance for the structural design required in unspecified construction projects for the years 2024–2026. The agreement can be extended with two option periods for 2027 and 2028.
Based on the tendering process, a framework agreement will be concluded with three (3) operators. For assignments to be identified later, the most economically advantageous contractor is selected from among the contractors, taking into account the characteristics of the project and the special expertise and experience of the contractor. The client can also put the designers out to tender for each project from among the framework agreement partners.
This procurement does not apply to project-specific major renovation or new construction projects, for which designers are always selected through a separate tendering process.

The city in question. The total cost of construction projects is approximately 800,000 - 900,000 euros/ year, VAT 0%. The scope of each building design task is agreed separately for each project, mainly on an hourly basis.
Structural design includes tasks in accordance with the Structural Design Task List RAK12 (RT10-11128) and GEO12 (RT 10-11127) (the necessary ground studies are commissioned separately by the client) and the occupational safety tasks of the structural designer (RT 10-11011). The structural designer acts as a Healthy House expert and coordinator in projects (RT 07-10805).
The construction sites are located in the area of the city of Lohja. The sites include city-owned public administration and office premises, day-care centres, schools, cultural, sports and youth services facilities, and city-owned social and health care facilities.
The planning assignments comply with the quality documents of the City of Lohja attached to the invitation to tender. Design tasks include modelling, the level of which is selected according to the needs of each site. The modelling follows the BIM guidelines of the City of Lohja attached to the invitation to tender.
The framework agreement will be concluded for the years 2024–2026. The consultancy agreement to be signed also includes possible option years 2027 and 2028, the use of which the client decides separately.
