As part of this tender, the Municipality intends to purchase services to support the project organisation of the Regional Work Centre (RWC).

To respond to the consequences of the corona crisis, the Groot-Amsterdam labour market region (UWV, regional municipalities and social partners) decided to set up the Regional Work Centre. The Regional Work Centre connects employers with overcapacity to employers with a need for staff. Together with its network partners, the Regional Work Centre provides the employer and employee support to make the move to other work. Career paths are being developed (mostly with a training component) to make the transition from one sector to another. This prevents unemployment (and therefore (long-term) dependence on benefits).
