In the course of the construction of the Danube expansion Straubing - Vilshofen, section 1, Straubing - Deggendorf, sand lizards have to be relocated to already completed dike sections:

- Pre-mapping of the potentially suitable intervention areas (4ha) in August/ Sept. 2023

- Resettlement from the potentially populated intervention areas with

- two "juvenile" rounds each in autumn 2023 and autumn 2024

- ten rounds each in 2024 and 2025

As part of this work, the results are to be digitally processed and an explanatory report including photo documentation is created.
