Information campaign on mental health on behalf of NIHDI

This contract concerns an information campaign on mental health care.

It is estimated that at least one in four Belgians will face mental problems at some point in their lives. When this happens, it's not always easy to talk about it, let alone quickly find the care you need.

One reason for this is that people face practical and financial barriers. But the biggest barrier is neither practical nor financial: many people do not take the plunge because of stigma, ignorance of mental (symptoms) or the fact that psychological care is perceived as "a big step" to take. Young people (up to 23 years old) and the elderly (from 65 years old) mainly do not find the way to the psychologist or the remedial pedagogue conventionné.

The objective of this campaign is threefold:

- Break the taboo of mental health problems among the population;

- Inform about the accessible offer of psychological care;

- Refer people who do not find the psychological care they need / who do not dare to take the plunge (from a system of "meeting places").
