The University Medical Center of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz is planning the construction of a new dental, oral and maxillofacial clinic (building 103) for research, teaching and treatment on the hospital grounds of Langenbeckstraße.
The building will be erected as a free-standing building complex with up to 6 floors, largely in solid construction.
Connections will be made to the neighboring buildings, building 109 (children's clinic) and building 102 (women's clinic, ENT clinic) via connecting bridges.
The central entrance area on the ground floor is accessible to the disabled via 4 central stairwells with a lift.
The load-bearing components are predominantly erected in monolithic solid construction in in-situ concrete or as prefabricated reinforced concrete elements.
