Ålesund kommunale eigedom KF (ÅKE) [Ålesund municipal properties], henceforth referred to as the Contracting Authority shall construct a new school at Hessa. The new school shall replace the old school. The school will be situated west on the site of the existing school. After the new school building is completed and pupils and teachers have moved into the building, the existing buildings shall be demolished. The new school shall have a capacity for up to 504 pupils. This represents 72 pupils for each year. SFO (Wraparound care service) shall be dimensioned for pupils in the 1st to 4th year and constitutes 220 pupils.

In accordance with the decided purchasing strategy for Ålesund municipality, it is a condition that the ambition goals of BREEAM-NOR Good and ZEB-O are met for the project.

The contractual work consists of a new building of approx. 6,500 m2 gross area including associated outdoor areas as well as roads and spaces. The existing buildings shall be demolished by the turnkey contractor.
