This specification outlines the scope of duties for the Electrical and IT Engineering installations and solutions for the proposed Hydrogen Microgrid/Private Wire scheme in Methil, Scotland.

The works include the expansion of the existing Private Wire network to connect a total of 9 properties to the hydrogen scheme. The existing private wire network supports 3 buildings:

— Hydrogen Office;

— Fife Renewables Innovation Centre;

— Methil Docks Boat Club.

This will be expanded to accommodate 6 further buildings:

— Quayside House 1 and 2;

— Cannons Doctor Surgery;

— Poppyview Childcare Centre;

— Thomson House;

— Bayview Stadium.

This specification has been developed based on a non-intrusive survey undertaken at the properties on 30.4.2015. All installations shall be designed in accordance with the relevant British Standard and/or Codes of Practice.
