Norsk rikskringkasting AS would like to enter into a contract for the procurement of 2 lorries for semi-trailers, as well as an option for a further 2 lorries at a later date (within 2 years of the contract being signed).

The lorries shall be used for transporting NRK's semi-trailers for mobile production units as well as a following semi-trailer with camera equipment etc. for them. NRK currently has 2 such sets of mobile production units, HD1 and HD2, as well as following semi-trailers for them, FVHD1 and FVHD2. There is, therefore a total need for 4 lorries, this will be covered by lorries that are planned to be replaced in the coming years.

NRK's use of lorries for this purpose involves a relatively small annual number of kilometres, compared with traditional use of such vehicles for transport purposes.

It is important that the tenderer has, or has at his disposal, a service organisation that can provide service and repairs for the lorries delivered to NRK. As NRK has a relatively small number of lorries in use and is, therefore, completely dependent on them for planned production, quick access to service when required in Norway and abroad is particularly important.
