The subject of this award procedure is the conclusion of framework agreements without justification of an acceptance obligation to cover procurement requirements of the beneficiaries that cannot yet be planned and specified in detail for a wide variety of brand-new server technology, including optional maintenance, services and additional contractual services and, if necessary, accessories. "Server" (lot 1) and "Storage" (lot 2) are advertised. In addition to the KIV in Thuringia, its (also potential) co-shareholders, the districts, cities, municipalities, administrative communities and special purpose associations in the state of Thuringia, including their legally independent and dependent institutions and associations and other forms of cooperation, are entitled to purchase.

The subject of the tender in Lot 1 comprises the procurement of servers in various product classes and product versions as well as other additional contractual services. It is intended to conclude framework agreements with up to 3 economic operators in lot 1. Within lot 1, it is mandatory to specify a manufacturer across all product categories.

Over the standard term of the framework agreement (see Section II.2.7 of the notice), the client estimates a total value of approx. 8,000,000.00 EUR excluding VAT. The estimated total value is based on the experience of recent years including estimated additional requirements, however without any extension rights (see II.2.11) of the announcement).

The subject of the tender in lot 2 comprises the procurement of storage systems in various product classes and product versions as well as other additional contractual services. It is intended to conclude framework agreements with up to 3 economic operators in lot 2. Within lot 2, it is imperative to specify a manufacturer across all product categories.

The client estimates a total value of approx. EUR 4,000,000.00 excluding VAT over the standard term of the framework agreement (cf. section II.2.7) of the notice. The estimated total value is based on the experience of recent years including estimated additional requirements, however without any extension rights (see II.2.11) of the announcement).
