A new drinking water distribution system is being set up in the new building of the Free Waldorf School in Haßfurt. The drinking water house connection room is located in the technical room of the new building.
The ground floor of the new building is supplied with drinking water pipes, which are laid in horizontal installation shafts on the ceiling of the hallway,
The other floors are supplied via risers in the toilet areas. On the part of the building construction, wall slots and prewalls for vertical warping in concrete / masonry are made in some places. Dynamic flow dividers were provided at technically necessary points in the drinking water network.
The domestic hot water production in the school area is largely carried out centrally via a fresh water station with a buffer tank.
In order to be able to provide domestic hot water at some distant tapping points, water heaters were provided here.
The washbasin fittings should be designed as self-closing fittings.
All urinals have an electronic flushing device, and some toilets have hygienic flushing at the end of the line.
The following rooms in the school area receive drinking water:
Kitchen, toilets, teacher's kitchen, chemistry, chemistry preparation, works, cleaning rooms, help, music, changing rooms, manual labor, therapy and classrooms.
The equipment for the disabled toilets consists of the following special furnishings:
- Wall-mounted washdown toilet with seat and back support,
- Two support flap handles with radio trigger and brush set (DIN 18040-1),
- Wheelchair accessible wash basin incl. Waste and overflow fittings.
