This contract notice is issued to tenderers for supply, installation and commissioning services for wind turbine generators (WTG) at Yellow River (Lot 1) and Tangy (Lot 2) Wind Farms, which will include but not be limited to the following:

• complete manufacture and supply of entire WTG system;

• transport and delivery (including to site and on-site movements) of the same including any specialist lifting equipment;

• design of foundation loadings;

• installation of WTG, commissioning of WTG;

• potential post-completion operations and maintenance services.

The tenderer should be capable and experienced to supply all management, technical support, competent labour, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, consumables, temporary works and each and all other resources necessary for the manufacturing, handling, transportation, installation, commissioning, maintenance and quality assurance necessary to satisfy the scope of supply.

Lot 1 — Site 1: Yellow River Wind Farm (onshore)

Yellow River wind farm, comprising of 29 No WTG. The wind farm site (the Site) is located within County Offaly, Republic of Ireland.

Consented WTG Parameters*: Tip Height up to 156 m (11 turbines) and 166 m (18 turbines), Rotor diameter up to 113 m, Hub Height up to 110 metres.

Grid capacity minimum/maximum: a grid offer via the ECP2.1 allocation process is anticipated in Q4 2020 and the size of this will match the configuration which delivers the best LCOE (levelized cost of energy) for the project

*Supplementary note to consented WTG Parameters: at the time of issue of this contract notice, the authority is in the process of making an application for non-material change to increase the rotor diameter up to 126 m. Tenderers will be requested to provide pricing for both the consented rotor diameter and for an option for potential increase to the rotor diameter, up to 126 m. It is important to note that a decision on the aforementioned application is not expected to be received prior to the issue of the tender.

Lot 2 — Site 2: Tangy Wind Farm (onshore)

Tangy wind farm, comprising of 16 No WTG. The wind farm site (the Site) is located within Argyll and Bute, Scotland.

Consented maximum WTG parameters: 149.9 m Tip Height, 130 m Rotor diameter, 91.5 m Hub height

Grid capacity minimum/maximum: 60 MW maximum

We will also request tenderers to provide technical proposals/additional pricing for turbine models that, based on tenderers own analysis of the optimum machine, drive efficiencies whilst complying with the current consented tip height limits and rotor diameters.
