New construction and new construction of WWTP Zeist with the ambition to realize the WWTP as a sustainable and circular purification using the Verdygo system, among other things. Within a construction team, the preliminary design that has already been drawn up will be developed into a final design. The contractor will then be responsible for the elaboration of an implementation design.
A choice has already been made for the Nereda® technology. Within the construction team, Royal HaskoningDHV will sit at the table as a construction team partner and will provide the knowledge and input for the Nereda® technology. Upon realization, she will be responsible for the Nereda® internals. Additional agreements will be made about this during the construction team phase. The contractor must bring the necessary knowledge and skills to further design the purification and integrate the Nereda® technology.
Publication of the assignment is scheduled for May 15, 2023. The new treatment plant must be in operation by the end of 2027 at the latest.
