Currently, a concept of inerting and water management has been developed as part of the ODA studies on underground facilities in HA neighbourhoods. It must be qualified as an important equipment for protection in order to prove its ability to meet safety requirements. This 80 m test bench will consist mainly of 26" non-alloy steel tubes, supports, a pipe network and a control control to regulate and inert the internal atmosphere. This is a first step in the development of the system to evaluate the concept in a simplified HA cell configuration. It must be sufficiently representative so that its operation can be reproducible in the CMHM Underground Laboratory and in Cigeo. The qualification of this device will take place in a cell at scale 1. In addition, a mobile inerting device will be studied and tested on this test bench (SISMO).
— design, construction and operation of a test bench for inerting and water management of the HA — Andra cell;
— the design of a test bench based on the reference cell concept and the additional requirements of the specification;
— the design of the SISMO device and the adaptations of the bench necessary for its use;
— manufacture and supply of test bench components and auxiliary components;
— manufacture of the SISMO device and modification of the access flange;
— the installation and approval tests of this test bench;
— installation and approval tests of the SISMO device — 51 types of tests are envisaged during this market;
— the operation of this bench by about 50 tests, the adaptation of SISMO and the analysis of the test results in accordance with the programme established by Andra;
— the dismantling, conditioning and transport of the bench, SISMO and auxiliary components. The service will be carried out at the holder's place.
