The purpose of the contract is for the purchase of two trucks, as part of the replacement of end-of-life vehicles. In addition to the supply of vehicles, the contract includes the design, construction, compliance, approval, delivery and commissioning of the vehicles.
The first vehicle to be acquired in this contract, hereinafter referred to as "TRAN", is intended for STIB-MIVB's Transport & Interventions service (hereinafter referred to as "T&I"). T&I requests the replacement of its current tarpaulin logistics truck (vehicle n°343), whose main mission corresponds to the logistics activities of transporting heavy parts (such as engines, accelerators, pantographs, accordions, airco group, ...) through STIB depots and on construction sites for repairs or maintenance of STIB metros, trams and buses.
The second vehicle to be acquired in this contract, hereinafter referred to as "SIG", is intended for STIB's Signal Intervention Force (hereinafter referred to as "FIS") service. The FIS is requesting the replacement of its current workshop vehicle (vehicle n°891, with mobile workshop), whose main signage mission includes the installation of bus and tram stop poles, nameplates and markings at STIB surface stops.
Both TRAN and SIG vehicles are to be used 7 days a week, and must allow the departments concerned to guarantee their mission safely and ergonomically, with the degree of flexibility expected by their internal customer (Business Units Metro, Tram, Bus & Customer Experience). This contract is awarded to a single supplier, capable of delivering the complete vehicles described in this document. This contract does not give any exclusivity to the successful tenderer.
The clauses relating to the performance of the contract are set out in Part 2 of the special specifications.
The additional technical and special specifications are set out in Part 3 of the special specifications.
