Category 1 controls cover all balance sheets whose expenditure is calculated according to a standard unit cost schedule provided for in Article 14.1 of Regulation (EU) No 1304/2013.

Category 2 controls cover all balance sheets with simplified costs, excluding balance sheets referred to in category 3 (indirect expenses package, ...).

Category 3 controls cover all balance sheets whose expenditure is calculated under the flat-rate of 40% of direct staff costs covering all other expenses of the operation provided for in Article 14.2 of Regulation (EU) No 1304/2013. Category 4 controls cover all balance sheets with a large number of participants and / or expenditure lines to be checked. These so-called "mass devices" CSFs are identified as such from 250 participants and result in the control of a file of parts per participant (for example, payments and / or control of billing in a market context). public).
