An essential framework for carrying out the economic analysis in the field of energy-saving construction is the costs to be applied for the construction and renovation of buildings. This requires an informed update of the existing cost data bases. The aim of the study is to identify new, up-to-date cost data sets that provide a sound basis for a profitability assessment for the verification of energy standards (residential buildings, non-residential buildings, new buildings and existing buildings).
