The Frankfurt-Rhine-Main Chamber of Crafts is planning to redevelop parts of the property at Westerbachstrasse 40 in Frankfurt/Main. This is the eastern part of the premises of the former printing ink factory of the Flint Group Germany GmbH. The area has a size of approx. 11,800 m² The spatial conditions and environment described in more detail in the specifications must be taken into account when executing the order.
Prior to the redevelopment of the area, the company buildings E2 to E5, E7 to E10 as well as D9 and D10 must be cleared, gutted and dismantled, taking into account the recognised rules of technology. The explosive ordnance probing is provided by the customer and is carried out during construction. After the building has been dismantled, existing surface sealants and sewers / drainage systems must be removed and disposed of, taking into account the recognised rules of technology. Furthermore, decommissioned underground storage tanks and above-ground storage tanks, pipelines and pipe bridges as well as a large separator are to be removed and the resulting excavation pits are to be filled in a qualified manner.
A building pollutant investigation was carried out on the buildings. Environmental investigations of the soil and groundwater did not reveal any soil protection-relevant pollution for the study area. Since it cannot be completely ruled out that contaminated soils will be encountered when the area is unsealed or .dem underground storage tanks are removed, service items for the excavation and disposal of contaminated soils are formulated in the bill of quantities.
In the case of earthworks, measures to secure the excavation pit (excavation pit shoring) are sometimes necessary. Since the area drains into the municipal sewer via the large separator, its dismantling is only possible after consultation with the municipal sewer operator and the AG. Work on the municipal sewer itself is not the subject of the price request.
