The European Commission's Directorate for Security is responsible for guaranteeing sufficient protection of staff, information, buildings and equipment of the European Commission. It has initiated a Global Security Project (GSP) aimed at increasing the level of security of persons, information, buildings and other goods at the Commission and harmonising said level across all building stock. This project involves, among other things, the re-evaluation of the level of security of each building occupied by the Commission and the renewal of the equipment necessary to achieve this aim. This invitation to tender is aimed at supplying and installing security equipment in the buildings of the Commission in Brussels and the surrounding area. This invitation to tender concerns the ceiling being raised for framework contract HR/R3/PR/2011/001.
