Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust requires the supply of cook and chill multi-portion patient meals. These currently consist of main dishes, side dishes and desserts supplied in standard catering pack sizes (e.g. Quarters = 6 portions per pack and Eighths = 3 portions per pack) equating to over 600,000 individual portions per annum spread over main dishes, side dishes and desserts.

The Trust operates a 2-week menu cycle and needs to be able to continue to offer a range of meat and vegetarian options.
The Trust currently places orders electronically 1 week in advance with delivery expected 1 day in advance of meal service. The Trust requires continuation of this process.
The Trust would require a supplier capable of daily delivery.
