The purpose of this specification is to regulate the rules and conditions that will govern the restricted project competition for the selection of the expansion and reform project of the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), which will be entrusted to a jury in charge of choosing the most suitable proposal in accordance with the criteria of this specification, and the award of the service contract related to the drafting of the preliminary project for the expansion of MACBA, as well as the possible award to the winners of the competition for subsequent works, described as possible subsequent awards in clause 2 of these specifications, in accordance with the requirements and conditions established in articles 168.d), 183 and ss. of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts (LCSP) and in articles LCSP and in articles 17 and 18 of Law 12/2017, of July 6, on architecture.
