Provision of External Support to Conduct Preferred Choice Modelling and Analytics for Armed Forces People Programme.
Requirement
The Armed Forces People Programme requires “stated preference” modelling to understand the likely impact on recruiting and retention of Service (military) personnel of a number of options for a new package of financial and non-financial rewards (the “New Offer”), and of new contract terms that will allow Service Personnel to work part-time or to limit their liability to be moved around the country or overseas.
Background
The United Kingdom’s 2015 Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR) undertook to “enable our Armed Forces to work more flexibly, reflecting the realities of modern life” (paragraph 4.53), and to “develop a new Armed Forces offer for new joiners” (paragraph 4.54). The Armed Forces People Programme’s mission is to deliver the commitments made in SDSR. Its vision is to create a modern and inclusive Armed Forces which attracts, retains.
