RSG extension new building as a specialist room building

The city of Sankt Augustin intends to build an independent extension along Grantham-Allee at the site of the Rhein-Sieg-Gymnasium, partly two- and partly three-storey.

The new school building is to have classrooms, classroom classes for computer science, languages and biology, a teachers' base and a canteen with a serving kitchen, as well as social and technical areas.

The building, which does not have a basement, is planned as a concrete structure.

The two-storey part will have a roof garden, the three-storey part will have a PV system.

Plot size: approx. 4,700 m2

GFA ground floor: approx. 1,900 m2

NGF: ca. 4.420 m2

BRI: ca. 22.990 m3

The specifications for structural work include earthworks, drainage work, grounding system, empty pipes, concrete and reinforced concrete work, masonry work, early finishing work in technical rooms, waterproofing work.
