Description:
Supply of equipment, execution works of mechanical biological treatment plant (TMB) financed by the European Union-NEXT GENERATION EU within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan Project "AUTOMATION AND IMPROVEMENT IN THE TREATMENT PLANT OF THE RESIDUAL FRACTION OF MALAGA" (Policy Lever 5, Component 12, Reform 2)"

Our model of production and consumption, based on a linear economy with continuous waste generation, is causing an unsustainable situation from an environmental and social point of view. The purpose of this contract is therefore to carry out the complete renovation of the treatment plant. The project is partially financed by the EU with NEXT GENERATION funds within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan Policy Lever 5, Component 12, "Industrial Policy of Spain 2030" whose reform 2, Waste Policy and promotion of the circular economy seeks to give continuity to the recently approved regulations, accompany the set of investments foreseen in the Plan in the field of waste and promote a new model of production and consumption in which the value of products, materials and resources is maintained in the economy for as long as possible, waste generation is minimised and waste that cannot be avoided is used to the fullest extent possible. The aim pursued is the greater recovery of recyclable materials and, therefore, compliance with the recycling objectives established both in the waste law 7/2022 and in the Circular Economy package and associated European directives. To this end, having a state-of-the-art mechanical biological treatment plant with high-performance and efficient waste treatment and separation equipment is a key element in achieving the objectives of recycling and reducing landfill deposits in the municipality of Malaga. For all these reasons, the supply of equipment and assembly of equipment for the remodelling of the mechanical-biological treatment plant is an ideal contract for the purpose pursued.
