- Communication of the progress of the project to internal and external project participants, including risk assessment and clarification of open questions (e.g. with regular TARGET-ACTUAL control of the project progress both with regard to the current project plan and with regard to the internal and external framework conditions and, if necessary, adaptation of the procedure through suitable measures).
- Control and coordination of the project teams involved.
- Definition of quality criteria for the activities required for the implementation of the project as well as continuous monitoring of compliance with the quality criteria (e.g. by identifying the relevant project key figures).
- Transfer of the project results into operation and exclusion of operational hazards by taking into account specific conditions in the MECM (including authorization concepts with strict client separation, specifications regarding server and network infrastructure, preparation of handover documents including role definitions, incident and change management). Use of incident and change management according to ITIL to carry out, release and document the necessary activities for project implementation.
- Control and support in the creation and review of QM documents to document the implemented project progress as well as to implement them in the future standard portfolio of the company.
- Responsible for risk management in the context of project implementation (e.g. with regard to communication to decision-makers and the development of risk-minimising measures).
- Support of requirements, program and offer management, e.g. with regard to the feasibility of existing requirements (especially with regard to the operation of MS Windows 11).
- Support of the release management for client and server systems (especially with regard to MECM) with regard to the need for adaptation due to project implementation through suitable measures (e.g. scripts, technical change documents with regard to collection and task sequence design).
- Creation and evaluation of strategic concepts for the operation and further development in the field of IT client management via Microsoft products (e.g. software distribution via MECM, Microsoft telemetry data, client security, server infrastructure, hard disk encryption via MBAM, MS Group Policy Object/Group Policy Preferences) in connection with an update of the client operating system (e.g. to MS Windows 11) as well as support in the technical implementation by appropriate guides.
- Intensive analysis of strategic developments (especially with regard to long-term manufacturer planning, new functionalities and data protection/IT security aspects) and consideration of the findings in further project planning.
- Evaluation and customizing of the cloud services of Microsoft products as well as the development, conception and operational support of a Microsoft technology-based private cloud for the use of various cloud functionalities of Microsoft products.
- Provision of solutions for the automated configuration of framework conditions required for project implementation (e.g. UEFI configuration, AD objects).
MigrationsverantwortlicherTasks "Migration Responsibility Project":
- Support in the conceptual elaboration of project, effort and master plans as well as the technical elaboration of change requests, upgrade and update plans of software and hardware products with regard to an efficient development for the migration of customers to a new client operating system (including MS Windows 11).
- Advising the customer on security-related issues (e.g. BSI requirements)
- Advising the customer regarding queries regarding the current Microsoft Product Availability Matrix (PAM) and expected developments.
- Primary point of contact for customer inquiries (Single Point of Contact, SOC) for technical implementation (e.g. with regard to the schedule and procedure of the transfer of project results into operation as well as documentation of the respective customer coordination).
- Target group-oriented presentation of project results as well as clarification of open questions about the transfer of these into regular operation (e.g. with regard to MS Windows 11) as well as regular reporting of the current status to the customer's contact persons (e.g. via weekly reports).
- Coordination of project tasks under customer responsibility (e.g. definition of customer-specific requirements, testing and acceptance of project results).
- Regular monitoring of the migration plan of the respective customer as well as creation of roadmaps for planning the implementation of open tasks (including definition of milestones) including monitoring of milestones and escalation in case of non-compliance with target deadlines.
- Checking the conformity and adaptation needs of existing operational processes with existing customer requirements for the migration of project results.
- Participation in incident, change, problem and release management of the HZD (according to ITIL).
- Creation of customer agreements (e.g. small orders, order agreements including change requests).
- Support of risk management in the context of project implementation.
Technical AdvisorTasks "Technical Consulting":
- Technical support in the selection of suitable products for project implementation on the basis of a defined requirement for a complex MECM environment (e.g. use of a CAS server and several primary sites) through suitable methods (e.g. implementation of market research, consideration of relevant criteria with appropriate weighting, consideration of the long-term product and corporate strategy).
- Consideration of up-to-date findings regarding the release management of the products in the project scope for consulting and support services.
- Consideration of security-relevant (e.g. BSI specifications) issues in the context of technical project implementation.
