The building is built as 5 blocks in 3 floors and today contains 145 homes. The buildings were built in the years 1959-1962 according to a project by architect Arne Paulsen. In connection with the renovation project, the housing supply will be reduced by 9 homes, as a result of housing mergers, to then contain 135 homes.

The construction project mainly includes renovation of 136 public apartments and outdoor areas, including replacement of roof, windows, doors, establishment of ventilation, French balconies and stairs to gardens, post-insulation of 5 gables, renovation of bathrooms and replacement of technical installations in the form of domestic water and fall logs. The tender is conducted in accordance with the procedure procedure with negotiation in accordance with sections 61 - 66 of the Public Procurement Act. The reason why the tender is conducted as a negotiated procedure is that ABG considers that there is a discussion of which solution is the best to meet ABG's wishes for the project and which conditions ensure that residents, safety, etc. are handled in the best possible way, especially with regard to rehousing and layout of the construction site.
