The purpose of the framework agreement is the centralized contracting of the provision of the travel agency service to carry out the trips and stays that are required, for the exercise of its purposes, when the cost of travel and / or accommodation corresponds to satisfy it entirely to the Administration, by the Ministries of the Administration of the Principality of Asturias, its autonomous bodies, as well as the public entities and public entities adhered to, in accordance with the provisions of article 219 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, (hereinafter LCSP).

This service is necessary to meet the mobility needs of those who, for many reasons, being their own staff or not, travel in charge of the entities included in intercity, national or international trips. To meet these needs, there are no own means for the transport of persons by air, train, or other means, or for their accommodation at the destinations, and therefore, this framework agreement is defined to cover these specific needs. The recipient entities will be obliged to contract the services covered by this agreement, during the period of validity of the same, with the company awarded the framework agreement and under the conditions set out in the specifications, unless exceptionally and with reasons it is considered that the services included in it do not allow to satisfy the administrative need raised, circumstance that must be duly accredited in the file.
