The Modular Offshore Grid (MOG) project foresees the construction of a high voltage electricity grid in the Belgian North Sea. As part of the MOG project, an offshore platform called OSY (Offshore SwitchYard) will be constructed.

The construction of the OSY platform requires offshore quality steel structures. Elia contracts these steel structures directly (the Main Steel Contract) and supplies them to the platform fabricator. The Main Steel Contract's workscope (2 lots) entails the supply of materials, partly pre-fabrication, certification, transport and delivery at the fabricator's yard of the following structural elements: Lot1 Legs & Braces (Jacket & Topside); Lo2 Foundation Piles.

The final contracting entity may be:

(i) Elia Asset NV and/or Elia System Operator NV; and/or

(ii) Any company belonging to the Elia group; and/or

(iii) A new company that will be set up by 1 of the of the companies of the Elia Group.

The Main Steel Contractor's scope of work (Lot 1) entails the supply of materials, partly pre-fabrication, certification, transport and delivery at the fabricator's yard of the following structure elements:

— 4 Jacket Legs (OD: ± 2m; wall thickness ± 30-80 mm),

— Braces (OD: ± 0.8-1m; WT: ± 20-30mm),

— 4 Topside Legs including 4 coned pieces (OD / WT (Sections): ± 1.2m / ± 30-50 mm; OD / WT (Coned Piece): ± 1.2-1.8m / ±50mm ).

The offshore steel grade quality of the structural elements is S355.

This tender is open for countries within the European Economic Area (E.E.A) and countries which have signed and ratified a GPA agreement or a similar agreement/treaty with the EU.

The Main Steel Contractor's scope of work (Lot 2) entails the supply of materials, partly pre-fabrication, certification, transport and delivery at the fabricator's yard of the following structural elements:

— 4 Lead sections (length: ±75m; OD: ± 1.8m; wall thickness: ± 40-50mm),

— 4 Add-on parts (length: ±40m; OD: ± 1.8m; WT: ± 40mm),

— 4 Stabbing pile parts (length: ±3m; OD: ±1.8-0.1m; ± 20mm).

The offshore steel grade quality of the structural elements is S355.
