The mapping exercise will provide the Danish Institute for Human Rights with insights that would help identify relevant UPR recommendations to follow up on and to identify and engage with relevant state actors and tailor support to achieve sustainable outcomes. It should also examine whether such assistance is aligned with the Institute’s project outcomes as part of the Human Rights and Democracy Consortium (HRDC) (documents will be handed to the consultant). It is necessary to ensure that the mapping identifies any possible duplication of efforts made by other international actors to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Institute’s assistance. Furthermore, the mapping should also pinpoint other interventions that the Institute can build upon. To this end, a consultant will be hired to conduct the mapping in cooperation with the Institute’s Jordan-based Strategic Advisor according to the attached terms of reference.
